How we work

We built the firm around the work, not the calendar.

Accounting is usually delivered in batches: books in arrears, taxes in a scramble, advice after the decision. We built the firm to run the other way, so your numbers are current every week and your accountant is someone you actually talk to.

The month

What actually happens

  • We connect to the sources

Bank and card feeds, your payroll provider, your point of sale. Read-only wherever the connection supports it, so nothing can move money.

    01
  • The books stay current all month

Your books are never months behind, so if something looks wrong you hear about it in week two, while it is still a small problem.

    02
  • Your accountant reviews and closes

They walk the exceptions, make the judgment calls, and sign off. The same person every month, so nothing has to be re-explained.

    03
  • You get the numbers, and us

Statements by the tenth, a running tax set-aside, and an accountant who answers when you ask what any of it means.

    04
What we hold to

Three rules

Continuous, not seasonal

The traditional firm batches: books in arrears, taxes in a spring scramble, advice after the fact. We keep the work current so the numbers are useful while you can still act on them.

One accountant owns it

You are not passed between a bookkeeper, a preparer, and whoever picks up. One accountant knows your business, makes the judgment calls, and signs their name to what goes out. You always know who that is.

Show the work

Every figure traces back to a source document. When you ask why a number looks the way it does, you get the reasoning and the receipt, not a shrug and a callback.

Your information

How your data is handled

You are handing us the financial record of your business. We treat that the way you would.

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Read-only bank connections wherever the institution supports them.
  • Access limited to the people actually working on your account.
  • We never sell or share your financial information.
  • Your records stay yours, and leave with you if you go.

If you want the specifics of how we store and process your information, that is written plainly in our privacy policy.
